八雄 [HACHIO]

絵描き。京都西山の麓にて生まれ育つ。人を好む。
美大在学中に祭、音楽、酒、農業などの人間の原初的な営みに意識的に触れたことで開眼。「描く」ことを含む全ての表現行為は自らの生きる社会において不可欠な要素であり、「想像＝創造」という意識の有用性を証明することを現在の一つの課題とする。
活動形態はクラブイベントなど音空間での即興ペインティングを軸に、滞在型制作、展示、壁画など。
2001年よりアーティスト田中良とのユニット、即興絵画組合[GETT]としても活動し、2009年春からは京都・伏見の地にて京都を活動基盤とする数名のアーティストと共にスペース[GURA]を始動。人の表現、意思伝達の依代となる「場」の考察・創造を開始する。

I am a painter ,born and raised at the foot of west-mountains of Kyoto Japan. I love human being.
My activities are impromptu paintings in the sound space such as club events ,resident works ,exhibitions ,wall paints.
I awaked by having consciously to do with the working of the human genesis such as a festival, music, drinking, and the agriculture.
All expression acts including "draw" and "paint" are an indispensable element in the society that we're living in ,and one of my present subjects is to prove utility of the consciousness "imagination = creation".
I am active as unit with artist Ryo Tanaka, impromptu painting-drawing unit [GETT] from 2001. and start the space [GURA] at Fushimi/Kyoto with several artist based on Kyoto from spring, 2009. I started consideration / creation of "a place" for expression / comunication.
